Main research area: Mineral nutrition in monogastric animals with the goal to develop feeding strategies to optimize mineral utilisation. 2003-2007: Ph.D. research in human nutrition: "Regulation of acid-base and mineral balance - Protective effects of alkalinising salts of potassium against low-grade metabolic acidosis and chronic pathologies (osteoporosis, renal lithiasis)".
