When canola seed gets heated it increases the free fatty acids and that can lower energy value and yes be a risk to oxidation. The longer the storage time before being used up, the higher the oxidation. Which can be stopped by adding an antioxidant to the storage tank at fill up, once fat is oxidized it is irreversible.

Based from experience, I think there is a limit to how effective such can be. Superdosing will become ineffective at a point where additional increase could no longer liberate any phytate. Also, phytase superdosing could be ineffective especially in countries where organic sources of phosphorus come cheap. It all depends on the level of superdosing.
