Professional experience:
In 2003 I completed my M.Sc. (Hons) Poultry husbandry studies. This has given me a range of practical capabilities that will meet the needs of this role.
I have attended many national and international conferences and especially I learn a lot by attending the International Production and Processing Expo 2016 and 2017, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
While completing my studies I worked part-time Poultry extension service provider My responsibilities in this role included providing face-to-face customer service and assisting on the farm level to co-op the present challenges facing by the poultry farmer. This position has given me key employability skills while also allowing me to experience working in a professional work environment.
With regard to my ability to meet the specific requirements of this job:
• Customer Service: Worked for many years in a face-to-face customer service environment providing customer service at poultry farm and feed mill level.
• Technical services: Responsibilities for the onsite farm level disease diagnosis and farmer educational programmes to upgrade the poultry farming of the country and to the feed mill owners to formulate and market economical and efficient feed.
• General Administration: I not only provided training in the use of skills including disease diagnosis, record keeping, data processing, records management and written communication while investigating the area problems.
• Professional Membership: Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council and World’s Poultry Science Association.
My teachers and employers have commended me for my high level of interpersonal skills and naturally engaging personality. My motivations include learning new things and the challenge of meeting key objectives.
