Is chloride the only remedy for transition cow health? On one mastitis forum, a treatment protocol included 2 lemons am/pm which may lower blood PH and may supply vitamin C. On another they added Green Tea and Tumeric Extract to the 21 day prefresh group for I believe the inflammation and stresses of the cow through this period. Is there any research to address the edema such as dandelion and it’s potassium sparing diuretic abilities, and tumeric as an anti inflammatory abilities and other non antibiotic products? and excess at times that predisposes these prime cows to the regimen of “Metobolic Diseases”
