Riobamba, the third largest city in Ecuador hosted participants of the third poultry event this year in Ecuador, called "Congreso Huevo Ecuador 2018".
The gathering took place from 4th till 6th of July, on the property of Ferial Quinta Macaji. Around 40 participants from the industry took part in this event. During three days of the event the main goal was strengthening of the technical and business knowledge in the commercial production of eggs.
At the booth of our distributor in Ecuador, Probac, Nicolas Greiffenstein-Technical Director for Latin America, and Dr. Stevan Petrovic-Technical Consultant, were present and talked with visitors about the benefits of using diformates (Formi NDF) in poultry.
The positive properties of the diformates are already known to Ecuador. Aquaform (potassium diformate) is used in this country for a few years with great success in the diet of the shrimps. Now it's time for benefits of diformates to take place in poultry sector, and accordingly on the second day of the event, Nicolas Greiffenstein held a lecture on the benefits of using Formi NDF (sodium diformate) in the feeding of laying hens. The lecture was attended by people from the poultry industry of Ecuador, as well as the existing and potential clients of Probac.
Ecuador is a market with high potential, and use of poultry meat and eggs in human nutrition is very prevalent in this South-American country. Accordingly, in addition to healthy air from the Andes, for better animal and human health, diformates are another essential supplement.
¡Riobamba gracias por todo!
