"The Americas are positioned for incredible growth, technology adoption, export dominance and quality, health and safety advancements,” said Flavia Roppa, president of United Pork Americas. “This pre-event online symposium is just one of the ways United Pork Americas will identify and present the challenges and opportunities within pork production.”
The online symposium is designed to set the stage for a larger in-depth discussion at the United Pork Americas Conference, set for Sept. 7-9 in Orlando, Fla., which will be an unprecedented pork industry event bringing together producers, veterinarians, nutritionists, researchers and other pork industry stakeholders. The education-focused program will provide an opportunity to examine the future of pork production and will feature more than 40 internationally renowned speakers, global networking opportunities and new technologies to better understand the opportunities and challenges of global pork production.
“We are excited about this new event as United Pork Americas fulfills an unmet need in today’s pork marketplace,” said Cliff Becker, executive vice president of livestock for Farm Journal. “Our goal is to provide the scholarship and resources needed for stakeholders across the pork system to succeed in today’s competitive global environment and better understand the opportunities for future advancement. United Pork Americas promises to be a world-class event in every way with specialists from around the globe debating issues within every segment of the pork production system.”
