IDEXX Introduces Free LabREXX® Online Service for Streamlined Lab Test Requests and Record-keeping

This fast, accurate Web-based method allows practices to efficiently order diagnostic tests from IDEXX Reference Laboratories

IDEXX Reference Laboratories, a division of IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., announced the availability of LabREXX® on IDEXX VetConnect®. This free service, available at vetconnect.com, helps practices save steps and time in submitting and tracking orders for IDEXX Reference Laboratories. It also provides secure Internet access to patient results and lab test history at any time, so practices can improve efficiencies and devote more time to patient care.

Practices using LabREXX on VetConnect report that they are saving time and enjoying a smoother workflow, since LabREXX automatically includes all client, patient and practice information—eliminating the need to write this onto paper forms. A unique bar code ensures accuracy with test requests and captures all lab fees on client invoices for practices using IDEXX Cornerstone® software.

It’s easy to find and order IDEXX reference laboratory tests from the electronic menu, so there’s no need to search through a paper directory or call customer service. IDEXX developed this service to help practices focus on patient care by shifting cumbersome paperwork to a streamlined electronic process using any PC with an Internet connection. Once a practice is signed on with LabREXX on VetConnect, any of the clinic’s practitioners, veterinary technicians or other staff members can complete requests in record time and view customized reports for any order.

Practices can try LabREXX online by logging in to IDEXX VetConnect at vetconnect.com and selecting the new LabREXX option on the home tab. If not already using VetConnect, they can subscribe online for a free membership.
