Laura has completed her PhD at Massey University in September 2021 and her PhD research work was on the measurement of calcium digestibility in feed ingredients for poultry and the digestible calcium and phosphorous requirements in broiler chickens. Laura has twelve years of academic and research background in Animal Science.

Dr Toghyani is a research fellow in poultry nutrition at Sydney University, and has over 10 years of experience in poultry nutrition research and practical feed formulation. His current research interests are evaluation and optimization of energy and amino acids requirements in both meat chicken and layer hens, and nutritional evaluation of alternative feed ingredients and trace minerals to improve efficiency and sustainability of poultry production.
