Poultry Industry from A to Z Gathered in VIV TURKEY 2013

TURKEY 2013, the 6th meeting of the poultry industry in Turkey opened its doors again in Hall 9-10-11 of Istanbul Expo Center after two years.

The event was officially opened on 13th of June following the speeches of Prof. Dr. Rüveyde Akbay President of World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) Turkish Branch, Mr. Kasim Piral Istanbul Food, Agriculture and Livestock Director and Mr. Bekir Çakici HKF Trade Fairs General Manager and hosted the visitors for three days.

In 2013 VIV TURKEY made a history as the broadly participated VIV TURKEY event ever

VIV TURKEY was opened in three halls in 2013 as the broadly participated VIV TURKEY event ever organized. It ideally proved that poultry industry is a growing sector in Turkey and in the world.
This year 8474 professional visitors from 66 countries, including Turkey, visited VIV TURKEY 2013, where 6932 of those were local and 1492 of those were from the overseas. Visitors of VIV TURKEY 2013 visited the leading brands of the industry in their stands.

B2B application in VIV TURKEY 2013 for the first time

As an international trade fair visitors and exhibitors of VIV TURKEY 2013 had the opportunity of holding one-to-one meetings with each other thanks to the newly introduced B2B application.

Numerous buyer groups coming from overseas were hosted at VIV TURKEY 2013

With the organization of Turkish Poultry Promotion Group operating within the body of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Economy and Istanbul Exporters’ Association numerous buyer groups that are consisting of company executives were brought to the exhibition from Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates, India, Iraq, Lebanon, Serbia, Tunisia, Jordon, Denmark, France, United Kingdom, Palestine, Egypt, Tajikistan, Georgia, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia and Morocco and they had one-to-one business meetings during the trade show.

Apart from that Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Sakarya Tarakli Poultry Breeders Associations and a large group of businessmen from Iran visited the event.

Jointly organized panel from HKF Trade Fairs and Turkish Poultry Promotion Group

Organizer HKF Trade Fairs and Turkish Poultry Promotion Group jointly organized a panel with the title of ‘Poultry Industry in the World and in Turkey’ at VIV TURKEY 2013, which is the only poultry and technologies trade show of Turkey. The speakers of the panel which was moderated by Mr. Sahin Aydemir President of Turkish Poultry Promotion Group were Mr. Teoman Inal, Turkish Poultry Promotion Group Vice President and Ms. Derya Pala Chairwoman of Turkish Egg Producers Association. At the end of the panel where world poultry industry, Turkish poultry industry and Turkish egg industry were discussed in depth, audience had the opportunity to address their questions. After the panel VIV TURKEY 2013 Exhibition Manager Ms. Hande Biber thanked the panelists and presented them their certificates.
