ST. CHARLES, MO (December 4, 2019) – Novus International, Inc., a global leader in health and nutrition solutions for the animal agriculture industry, this week released its 2018 Sustainability Report. This is the 11th year for the report that provides a round-up of the company’s efforts in social, economic and environmental sustainability during the previous calendar year.
Rachel Meyer, global marketing and sustainability manager, said the report allows the public to see a glimpse of the breadth and depth of Novus’s worldwide activities.
“This latest report includes information about our supply chain operations, our onboarding process, our products, as well as the philanthropic initiatives that Novus employees have implemented in their local communities, some since the company began in Missouri in 1991,” Meyer said. “It shows how employees at all levels of the organization are working to make Novus, and the industry we support, more sustainable.”
Articles of interest include a piece about how Novus recently overhauled its organizational structure to better serve customers around the world. Another article talks about the customized online learning software that is helping to optimize and streamline new employee onboarding as well as current employee training. There are also details about how the company’s MINTREX® Reduce and Replace™ program is working to help animal agriculture reduce the amount of zinc oxide they include in animal feed; a necessity with areas of the world restricting the use of the inorganic mineral.
“Novus is a large company and we don’t always hear about all of the good things that each department is working on,” Meyer said. “This report really is a celebration of the good work that we’re doing.”
