IPVS2022: Registration for abstract submission ends this weekend

    

Those interested in presenting their results at the 26th edition of the IPVS2022 Congress, the most important scientific event in the global swine sector, have until this Sunday, March 6th, to submit their abstracts.

The first edition of the event in hybrid format will be held between June 21st and 24th, at Riocentro Convention Center, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil and will have as its theme "New perspectives for the swine industry: biosecurity, productivity and innovation". The objective is to discuss the main and most current issues related to the global swine industry.

To submit an abstract, the author should follow the guidelines available on the website of the event (www.ipvs2022.com) until March 6th. It is important to emphasize that the abstracts will be presented in oral or poster format, to be determined by the IPVS2022 Evaluation Committee and that will be previously notified to the author

For Fernanda Almeida, participating in IPVS2022 is one of the best ways to get visibility in the scientific community. "This congress is the main event of the world’s pig farming, the place of choice for those who seek recognition for their research," says the president of IPVS2022.

     

The IPVS2022 Organizing Committee draws attention to the strict adherence to the guidelines of abstract preparation. "If the abstract does not match the established guidelines, it will be rejected by the Revising Committee," reports the events chair.

Abstracts must fall into one of the following thematic areas: viral diseases; bacterial diseases; immunology and vaccinology; food safety and parasites; reproduction; antimicrobials; welfare; nutrition; clinical cases; production and innovation; herd management and miscellaneous.
