Vet Antibiotics Price Trends - Florfenicol, Tylosin and Tilmicosin -

The continuous decline in prices is mainly due to the decrease in downstream demand. The prices,however, are still higher than the level of the same period of last year. The mainstream view on price trend for the short term is still downward.

However, there are some other products such as Oxytetracycline, the prices have stopped falling. The manufacturers have gone into de-stocking and some manufacturers are under-employment, the supply side being tightened leads to prices going up.

It is also worth of noting that under the influence of environmental protection and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit (venue: Qingdao, Shandong Province) in June 2018, production and supply will receive certain regional and temporary repression, and the price of some certain products will be adjusted upward temporarily.

“Restriction Use of Antibiotics"

The Ministry of Agriculture on 21/APR issued the "Pilot Program for Reducing the Use of Veterinary Antibiotics 2018-2021".

The government strives to adopt a reduction action pilot for veterinary use of antibacterial drugs in the animal farming sector for three years, and promote the reduction mode of veterinary antibacterial drugs, aim to reduce the use of antibacterial feed additives and use of veterinary antibacterial drugs to achieve “zero growth”,and the veterinary drug residues and animal bacterial resistance to be effectively controlled.

In 2018,several provinces in China continue to promote environmental supervision, focusing on stopping production, relocating and rectifying scattered industrial enterprises. The National Conference on Ecological Environment Protection was held in Beijing on 18-19/May. The General Assembly has made arrangements for strengthening the protection of the ecological environment and fighting for the prevention and control of pollution.
