Forums were held in Lima and Trujillo. Thanks to the great efforts of INVETSA, Biomin's local distributor, more than 60 attendees from different animal sectors participated in each event. Two senior veterinarians, Dr. Elmer Avila and Dr. Luis Alzamora of INVETSA presented a topic concerning the current mycotoxins situation in Peru. Verena Starkl discussed the impact of mycotoxins to animals and its solution. Ruben Beltran focused on the probiotic and prebiotic to poultry. Cliff Hsun talked about the use of phytobiotics in swine production. A new company video in Spanish debuted in the forum that further enhanced the company image.
According to a survey after the forums, all of the participants would like to attend again and many even asked to organize it on monthly basis. "Biomin is not a common company", as commented by a guest, "It is a company not only producing quality and innovative products, but also very strong in research and development".
