Ralf is a representative of MRI in several international and national asscociations on food technology, food control and food nanotechnology. In 2012 Ralf accepted the position as an Honorary Assistant Professor in the School of Biological Sciences of the University of Hong Kong. His research activities have resulted in approximately 100 original papers in peer-reviewed journals, 35 book chapters and 250 abstracts or short papers in congress proceedings.
