Yes, I agree with the statement. It is already proven that mycotoxins such as aflatoxin, ochratoxin, etc., can interfere with vitamin D/calcium/phosphorus metabolism.

The information provided about the lesions are of a general nature and not specific to any mycotoxin in particular. It would be interesting to know if the lesions recorded were correlated with mycotoxin levels either in the tissues or in the feed fed to the birds that were slaughtered. Thanks, M. G. Nair
