Eddy Decuypere

Prof. Eddy Decuypere is a world authority in the field of incubation. He retired from the University of Leuven, where he worked at the department of Biosystems, Division of Livestock-Nutrition-Quality at the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering. His research topics are Endocrinology of thyroid and ovary in the chicken; Growth physiology and energy metabolism; Embryo- and incubation physiology Feed intake control in birds; Ascites in broilers Paracrine factors in ovarian functin in the hen; Broiler breeder husbandry.
