Professional experience:
Lecturer–Researcher and biotechnologist with a strong focus on poultry health and food safety, working at the University of Life Sciences “King Mihai I” from Timi?oara, Faculty of Bioengineering of Animal Resources. My experience spans antimicrobial resistance, natural antimicrobials, foodborne pathogen control, and applied research from lab studies to animal trials (e.g., broiler performance and meat quality). I collaborate internationally with academic and industry partners to develop and validate practical interventions (probiotics, organic acids, essential oils) and translate evidence into training, outreach, and implementation-ready guidance. I have designed and interpreted experimental studies ranging from in vitro antimicrobial/anti-virulence assays to in vivo broiler trials assessing growth performance (BW, ADG, FCR) and meat quality indicators (carcass yield, drip loss, pH). I also contribute to scientific writing, project development, and capacity building (training, workshops, and stakeholder-oriented knowledge transfer) to support evidence-based improvements in poultry health, processing hygiene, and overall production sustainability.
