DIGEST FAST® allows to reduce up to 10kg of fat in the ration, an important saving that leaves us free space in formulation. Therefore, in addition to saving the cost of fat, the nutritionist has a valuable tool that permits greater flexibility in choosing raw materials, being able to use cheaper and/or less concentrated ingredients. This will allow you to incorporate the additives that you ...

The greater intensification of animal production cannot neglect the welfare and the correct conditions of animal housing and management. The European Union (EU) has established a wide range of legislative provisions that guarantee this condition and more and more countries share this concern. In the short term, legislative guidelines may seem like an unnecessary cost, but considering that a stress ...

I like the topic. I was overwhelmed with the results that our farmers got when we introduced them to phytobiotics. Natural growth promoters like Sangrovit should be embraced by all African countries. Good management, proper biosecurity, hygiene, trained employees and Sangrovit in feed and water (these are ideal candidates for antibiotics).Charles ssekatawa, Uganda

Its a symbiotic relationship and I think you are sightly misplaced in your opinion that management is the only solution. It i ...

We all are looking for the alternates to common antibiotics.Probiotics seems to be quite promising. But we are not able to depend on them as we depend on antibiotics, because we have opposite results in variuos trials.Still probiotics have not gained the universal acceptance. Some work need to be done in field, because alternate to antibiotic is a need.

Dear gentlemen, I would like to contribute with some experience we have gathered with non-antibiotic performance enhancers around the globe. There is strong interest from the feed industry and Europe has 10 years experience in using such products. Acidifiers (organic acids) are standard in most non-ruminant diets to reduce pH and buffering capacity and to control bacteria (esp. Gram-). Probioti ...
