Hi Nicholas, the Research Center of the Caribbean Agro-Environmental - CIAC, aims to set up a pilot plant concentrate feed for fish and crustaceans, among others.
While it is true that the concentrated feed represents between 60 and 70% of production costs in aquaculture, in many cases the formulation does not contain the nutritional requirements of the species, nor the% protein that claim to have, or protein contained not compatible with the animal.
The CIAC, within its nutritional line offers balanced diet formulation specific for each species and its different stages, with% and fair quality of nutrients for their development. It should be noted that the Centre ventures, both inland and marine species.
Therefore we check the equipment, capacity and cost of a plant, whose purpose is the development of efficient diets for our species but also putting product on the market in order to become self-sustaining.
I appreciate your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Farid Arabia Ricardo
