Methane emission of ruminants

Published: February 12, 2010
By: Yusuf Ziya Cakir
Recently some scientists claim that ruminants have considerable effect on global warming by emiting 1000 litres methane to the air. Do you agree with this statement or it is just an excuse of developed countries in order to distract peoples attention from their role on greenhouse gas emission??

hi i think methane emission is a fact and we are not allowed to deny this obvious one.but in developing countries there are a tendency that forces us to make every thing simple and somehow deny our responsibilities . by making a wrong judgement we want to say that we are not guilty and in reality this do not take us no where.i strongly believe methane emission has put our life in danger and we should take actions to get rid of this phenomenon.
