Campina appoints A.A.J.M. van Benthem as Group Director Consumer Products Europe

Campina, one of Europe’s leading dairy organisations, has appointed Mr A.A.J.M. (Arthur) van Benthem as Group Director Consumer Products Europe as from 1 January 2007. At present Van Benthem (39) is Managing Director of the Coco-Cola company in the Korea region. Arthur van Benthem has gained a wealth of experience in the course of his international career at multinationals such as Unilever, Procter & Gamble and the Coca-Cola Company. For the latter he worked, among others, in Indonesia, New Zealand and for the last couple of years in Korea.
Van Benthem succeeds Mr J.J.G.M. (Justin) Sanders, who, in recent months, in addition to his responsibility as CEO of Campina, has also taken on the management of the Consumer Products Europe group (CPE). From 1 July of this year Sanders will again be able to concentrate fully on his role as CEO of Campina.
Commencing 1 July of this year, Mr W.A.M. (Wouter) de Bruijn, at present director CPE Nederland, will temporarily fill the position of Group Director Consumer Products Europe until such time as Van Benthem is settled in his new function. De Bruijn will combine the function of Group director CPE with his position as director CPE Nederland.

The Consumer Products Europe group is aimed at producing consumer products for the home market Germany, Netherlands and Belgium and is also active in, among others, the United Kingdom, Russia and Spain. The CPE group has an annual turnover of Euro 2,066 million and has approximately 4,800 employees. At CPE’s production companies’ daily fresh and long-life milk, desserts, yoghurt, quark and dairy drinks are manufactured. The group is responsible for both dairy products under the Campina (international), Landliebe (Germany) and Mona (Netherlands) brands as well as products made under private labels. The group comprises CPE Netherlands, CPE Germany, CPE International and CPE Supply Chain.
