The Manure Challenge showcased eight international start-ups pitch solutions to capture value from manure-based nutrients, to a live digital audience of more than 450 high profile investors and industry leaders.
Digested Organics was selected by the judging panel as the Winner of the $50,000 non-dilutive prize, announced by Cargill at the end of the session, during the webinar of the Animal Agtech Innovation Summit.
The goal of the Manure Challenge is to create an expedited pathway to circular farm economies through the creation of new revenue streams from waste and by-products (water, manure and nutrients). The Challenge started in partnership with the WWF, Dairy Farmers of America and Newtrient, and is sponsored by Cargill, The Maschhoffs and WeWork Food Labs.
