This topic is very interesting towards quality control of animal production and connect the lost ring. I will be most pleased if I have a copy of such research in poultry and pigs published in any scientific journal.
Thanks in advance.

I would truly like to know if the discarded vegetable oil from restaurants can be trickled on top of the grain fed to steers would be beneficial to the fat increase in the carcass
We feed damp brewers grain to our steers and they love it and I can get them to prime grade but takes a year. I have access to lots of discarded vegetable cooking oil and was curious if adding some of this oil would speed the finish of these steers?
I only finish about 10 steers a year to sell to the public but the demand increases each year since all the beef reach choice but some prime. I’m shooting for 900 pound carcasses because a high percentage of the 900 pound carcasses reach prime.
