In an interview with Mr. Antoine Sayegh, Chairman of Board of Poultry Middle East & North Africa "MEAP", he was asked Why AGRENA?
Since the launch of this exhibition - perhaps in response to my repeated requests over the years - I was sure it will soar in the sky of international specialized exhibitions for several reasons, including:
  • Host country represented by Egypt and the easy access to it.
  • The Egyptian people known for politeness and openness to Arab and foreign tourists.
  • The excellence of Egyptian poultry industry and its promising future.
  • Egypt's population, which may be equal to the population of all countries of the Arab Middle East.
  • Availability of hundreds of thousands of Egyptian technicians who work in the poultry projects in the Arab world and who occupy the post from the top of the pyramid to the base.
  • Love of the Egyptian to their homeland and sacrificing all for it ...in the end " Egypt in Mother of the World ..."
  • In Egypt today, there are many renowned scientists in the poultry industry.
Moreover, Egypt's importance lies also in its touristic fact, visited by the five continents of the world; people come to enjoy the feast of historical and tourism places scattered throughout the country.
