ILDEX Vietnam 2010 is ready to aid Vietnam’s dairy industry overhaul

ILDEX Vietnam 2010 is ready to fulfill the need for better dairy technology in anticipation of rising local demand for dairy products.  World leaders are set to showcase the latest technology and business solutions at the show on March 25-27, 2010 at SECC in HCMC, Vietnam.
Vietnam's dairy industry has demonstrated good growth over the past decade. Currently, Vietnam's annual milk production is set to reach an estimated 350,000 tonnes in 2010. However, even that amount  meets only 22 per cent of  domestic demand. The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) has recently outlined a ten-year plan for the Dairy Development Planning of Vietnam, which involves a dramatic overhaul for the local dairy industry. Domestic milk production is to be boosted to meet local demand and also to lessen reliance on imported dairy products.
The MIT announcement is welcomed by both dairy farmers and suppliers. Farmers can now expect government support for development plans and the necessary funding for that. Suppliers foresee looming solutions for dairy cattle development with better breeding plans, greater feed production, improved animal health care, fully sanitized milk collection, and entirely modern processing for dairy cattle production.
"This positive trend in Vietnam's dairy industry is already reflected by keen interest from abroad in ILDEX Vietnam 2010. Leading dairy technology suppliers have booked to showcase their products, service, technology and business solutions at this leading dairy show in Vietnam," said Ms. Ladda Mongkolchaivivat, general manager, N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd., (NEO) the organizer of ILDEX Vietnam 2010.
ILDEX Vietnam 2010 is the 3rd International Livestock, Dairy, Meat processing, and Aquaculture Exhibition, which takes place from the 25th to 27th of March 2010 at The New Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Phu My Hung, HCMC in Vietnam. ILDEX Vietnam is a cooperation between NEO and its international partners - - VNU Exhibitions Europe and its local partner, Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertising Services (VEAS).
"ILDEX Vietnam 2010 is ready to serve the rising demand for state-of-the-art technology for Vietnam's dairy industry. As a result, we expect a lot of activity at the dairy section of ILDEX Vietnam 2010. Dairy operators both big and small will certainly take this opportunity to search for newer technology and business solutions to improve production and future investment," said Ms. Mongkolchaivivat.
"This year's ILDEX Vietnam 2010," she continued, "is showcasing the latest dairy technology from leading names worldwide. This will make it a very busy section, perhaps even more active than the livestock, meat-processing and aquaculture sections. So we believe that ILDEX Vietnam 2010, one of the most awaited events of the year, is the center stage for Vietnam's dairy industry."
Exhibition space is still available for dairy technology suppliers who covet a chance to be at the very center of Vietnam's dairy industry.
