BDD: the impact of housing before calving on prevalence after calving
Date: Friday, March 11, 2016
Dr. Richard Laven (Massey University) discussed his findings on the evaluation of prevalence and the impact of environment, during the International Conference Lameness in Ruminants 2015 in Valdivia, Chile.
The 18th International Symposium and 10th International Conference on Lameness in Ruminants will be an opportunity for academics, practitioners and hoof trimmers to gather and discuss about different problems produced by lameness in ruminants, that affect their welfare and productivity.
This will be the second time that we hold this conference in Latin America, a continent where lameness problems are equally or more important than in Europe o North America, even though our production systems are mainly pasture based.
The Conference will be held at the city of Valdivia, one of the oldest cities in Chile. The School of Veterinary Sciences, Universidad Austral de Chile, will act as organizer. We invite you to come and share with us your knowledge and expertise!
The dead line to present papers is the 30th of August 2015.
