The 2021 Symposium on Gut Health in Production of Food Animals is now accepting abstract submissions, meeting registrations, and hotel reservations.
The deadline to submit abstracts is Monday, August 30, 2021.

The 2021 symposium will be held at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark. Book a room online or by calling (314) 421-1776. Please refer to the room block name "Gut Health Symposium" when making your reservation by phone. This will ensure that you receive the proper meeting room rate. All reservations must be made no later than Friday, October 18, 2021, to receive the symposium rate.
The aim of this meeting is to discuss the role of good health in animal production and the dynamic and essential role the gut plays in it. The symposium will include all species in animal agriculture and cover different aspects of the gut and important factors in gut health maintenance and disease. The symposium will provide a platform to present the latest research findings, from the fundamental aspects of defining and measuring gut health to the complex and interactive roles of the intestinal microbiota, intestinal epithelium, immune cells, and nutrition in modern animal production. This symposium offers an opportunity to engage in scientific discussions and exchange opinions with university, government, and industry researchers.
