Kemin Reaches Out to Veterinary Community

With the aim of reaching out to the veterinary community and sharing the most updated technical knowledge on the latest nutritional solutions for poultry, dairy and aqua industries, Kemin Industries, Inc. participated in the educational exhibition organized by the Madras Veterinary College in Chennai. The exhibition was attended by sources of men and women from the veterinary community, sophomores and animal-lovers of South India.
The technical team from Kemin, comprising of veterinarians, dairy nutritionists and scientists welcomed the audience and introduced them to concepts of effective animal nutrition to enable profitable farming

Dr. Jayaraman Krishnarajan, Kemin technical head for poultry, addressed visitors and presented Kemin to them. "Kemin is a is a research-driven nutritional ingredients manufacturer committed to improving the quality of life by providing quality nutricines which enhance and ensure feed quality through superior chemistry. "Kemin is committed to improving the quality of life of the people by working on three platforms - health, safety and efficiency", explained Gnanmani, Kemin National Sales Manager for the aqua division. "By combining need-based innovation and building solutions at a molecular level, Kemin enables and helps in successful and profitable farming across poultry, dairy and aqua industries," added Dr. Manivannan Krishnan, Kemin product manager.

Dr. Sumeet Bagga explained to the audience on Kemin's manufacturing capabilities and service offerings: "Kemin serves dairy, poultry and aqua communities with an extensive technical network, a sophisticated Customer Lab Service catering to bespoke requirements for feed analysis and an engineering support unit. With its South Asian base in Chennai, Kemin serves India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka".

The concept and working of Kemin's patented superior spray freezing coating technology was presented to the visitors by Dr. Priya. "Kemin has introduced the concept of encapsulation to the Indian dairy and poultry industries. Encapsulation by spray freezing technology is one of the latest innovations in animal nutritional technologies in India and is expected to go great lengths in helping dairy animals and poultry reach production as per their true genetic potential," she said.
"The exhibition which focused on sharing knowledge about developments in the veterinary industry proved to be an effective platform for Kemin to interact with both the veterinary student community and practicing veterinarians," remarked Dr. Thirumeignanam, Kemin scientist.
