Muyang recently announced that effective March 29 it has been honored with a certificate of conformance with ATEX directive. This comes after more than three months of preparation and work.
The ATEX directive describes what equipment and work environment is allowed in an environment with an explosive atmosphere. Certification ensures that the equipment or protective system is fit for its intended purpose and that adequate information is supplied with it to ensure that it can be used safely.
Once certified, the equipment is marked by the ‘CE’ and ‘Ex’ symbol to identify it as approved under the ATEX directive, and it can be used anywhere within the European Union without any further requirements being applied with respect to the risks covered being applied.
Muyang is committed to be a responsible organization through continual improvements on the safety performance of its products, projects and services. This time, a total of 20 hammermills and bucket elevators that used in feed processing and grain handling are certified.
