Poultry must be fed according to their needs. For quality productions, food must not be a growth factor but must keep the animals in a constant state of well-being. The administration of too energetic rations favours a fast growth of the animals, predisposing them however to stressful situations and favouring the onset of diseases.
Even scarce or unbalanced rations weaken the chickens favouring diseases. It is, therefore, necessary to distribute a balanced food ration that favours, based on the breed characteristics, a harmonious development of the animals and their immunity defence.
