NOREL participated in the Poultry Research Days (JRA) in France, represented by its Area Sales Manager for France, Germany, and Belgium, Marie Cadieu.
This French scientific congress was held over two days, on March 18 and 19, 2026, in the city of Tours. The event is organized every two years by ITAVI, INRAE, ANSES, and CTCPA, with the support of the WPSA and WVPA organizations. It provides an excellent opportunity for researchers and professionals to present and share new challenges and innovations in the poultry sector.
Several key challenges in the poultry industry were addressed, including avian influenza, climate change, carbon footprint, protein autonomy, nutritional values, artificial intelligence, mycotoxins, Calcium and phosphorus metabolism, Salmonella contamination, and animal welfare.
NOREL was proud to present two posters on its product DICOSAN+ (sodium butyrate protected with salts of medium-chain fatty acids):
• Targeted administration of butyric acid: performance and mortality in broiler chickens receiving different protected forms of butyric acid in feed
• Targeted administration of butyric acid: cytokine and serological responses in broiler chickens receiving different protected forms of butyric acid in feed
NOREL’s participation in this event was important to better understand current challenges in the poultry industry, as well as regulatory requirements and market and consumer expectations. It was also an opportunity to meet with industry professionals, exchange knowledge, and learn more about recent scientific research in the poultry sector.Several key challenges in the poultry industry were addressed, including avian influenza, climate change, carbon footprint, protein autonomy, nutritional values, artificial intelligence, mycotoxins, Calcium and phosphorus metabolism, Salmonella contamination, and animal welfare.
