Vector vaccine technology solved great problems of many diseases world wide or at least in my area (middle east) like ILT, ND as both ILT & ND expressed by only one serotype, so it succeeded. But IB still great problem & it is difficult to broad protection against different serotypes at the time IB virus has great affinity to mutate & gives other new serotypes to threat poultry industry & till now there is difficulty to insert more than one serotype in one vector virus, so i think it is good idea to use S2 gene but still important to try challenge with other serotypes to be sure that S2 is capable to express all IB serotypes
