USA - California conference to focus on animal nutrition

The 2005 California Animal Nutrition Conference and Technical Symposium will be held May 11-12 at the Piccadilly Inn Hotel in Fresno, Calif.
The symposium, sponsored by the Zinpro Corp., will be held May 11.
Dr. Michael Elliot of Wenger's Feed Mill Inc. will speak on the role of trace minerals in commercial layer production.
Other topics examine nutrition and its effect on dairy cattle.
Elliot will also speak at the May 12 nutrition conference on enzyme use in commercial layer production.
Dr. Allen Pettey of California Polytechnic State University will discuss calcium and phosphorus requirements for growing pigs and poultry.
Additional speakers will address issues relating to dairy and beef cattle, horses, grain oilseeds and molasses outlooks.
