Best time of insemination is towards the end of heat.if the behavioural signs of heat are not overt or not expressed i.e. silent heat; the inseminator is to be good at feel inside i.e rectal palpation to judge the stage of heat. Alternately PGF 2 alpha/ GnRH may be used judiciously to time heat/ ovulation.
