Amin Nthanga Thank you,in most pellet operations, 5% fat level is always problematic because you want to fine grind your materials before pelleting. Using a screen size of 2000 microns or less has proven this. When you are formulating a starter diet for a broiler, energy requirement is between 2950-3000kcal ME/kg. To reach this energy level at exact calorie protein ratio, an ingredient rich in fa ...

Dear Mr. Dubois, thank you for your comment! Please be informed that the lowered CP treatments (starter and grower) were not deficient on methyl groups, comparing to the normal CP groups (starter and grower). For example in the lowered CP group in the starter phase, methionine was supplemented in higher amount, having a higher level on dMet 5,57 g/ kg, comparing to normal CP treatment with dMet ...

in our many studies involving numerous phytase products, it seems like the term FTU is totally meaningless. supposedly 500 FTU from phytase A should be equal to 500 FTU from phytase b but seldom is.

You can use some new pellet binders mile PMC (poly methyl carbamide) with very low inclusion rate 1.33 kg/ton.

In my idea, pelleting has four benefits. In brief:1. Improvement of bioavailability2. Change in pick of feed and Improvment of FCR, BWG, FI.3. Energy saving4. Reducing pathogenic factors

Pellet can be better than mash because that can verify the eating pattern, I think.

Mr Sesan Pelleting does increase the cost of production as compared to mash but u look into efficiency of pellet, it’s much more better in terms of FCR, feed wastage, energy utilised by birds for prehenson of feed With one pick of pellet complete feed goes into bird. More pellet is geletenised and cooked food thus BV of pellet is much better than mash Regards Dr Chandra
