Since 2006 Dr. Vehmaanperä has worked as the Global R&D Director of Roal Oy, Finland and AB Enzymes GmbH, Germany. The companies produce, market and sell industrial enzymes for the feed, baking, food, textile, detergent and P&P segments. AB Vista is AB Enzymes' distributor of Roal's feed enzymes. The R&D team has special expertise in developing the Trichoderma and Bacillus production platforms and in discovering and evolving cellulases, xylanases and phytases.
