He was one of the founders of NOBL Laboratories, a successful biotechnology company that was acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica (BIV), and previously served as Vice President of PIC USA, Inc. (formerly Pig Improvement Company), a global leader in pig breeding and genetics. Dr. Harris is a professor in the Animal Science and Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine Departments at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
