Dr. Whitlow is professor of dairy cattle nutrition in the Animal Science Department at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC. Lon is a native of Kentucky. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Kentucky, his Masters degree from the University of Florida and the Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Whitlow is the Animal Science Departmental Extension Leader. Lon conducts research and extension in dairy cattle nutrition and management, including the incidence, effects, control and treatment of mycotoxins.
