Early light stimulation in the production farm (summer in Australia very hot) after transfer from rearing farm caused early egg laying. This problem caused yolk peritonitis and septicaemia (haemolytic E. coli) resistant to all antibiotics but Sulfa/trimethoprim. However after two cycles of treatment problem still persist. From week 20 to week 40 we have an accumulated mortality of 15%.
