Professor Evans is the Dean of Agriculture, and Head of the School of Agriculture and Food Science in University College Dublin. He is also Director of the Reproductive Biology Research Cluster, a group of like-minded scientists researching the factors impacting the establishment of pregnancy in cattle. Professor Evans has conducted research on a wide range of topics focusing on reproduction and fertility in cattle and sheep. These areas include the regulation of puberty, oestrus synchronisation, ovarian follicle development, oocyte and embryo development, uterine health and function,etc.
