Dr. Hannes Swart

In 1995 Avimune (Pty) Ltd was incorporated, under the leadership of Dr Hannes Swart, as a management buy-out of the Golden Lay Laboratory and experimental facilities. He served as Managing Director of Avimune from 1995 until 2005. With new and extending possibilities in the animal health industry the scope of the business extended beyond poultry and the original Avimune laboratory was restructured into Deltamune, an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory and vaccine manufacturer in 2005. Dr. Hannes Swart was the CEO of Deltamune from 2005 to 2014 and is currently a Director of Avimune.
