In Dar es Salaam the choice of raw materials for formulating broiler feed is rather limited and consist of maize, maize bran, fish meal, sunflower cake, cotton seed cake, blood meal, lime, dcp, bone meal, salt, lysine, methionine and broiler premix. How best can these ingredients be used to formulate a broiler feed that is going to give a live weight of one kilogram in five weeks?
