Temple Grandin is Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University. My main areas of study are cattle handling, pig handling, temperament, genetic effects on behavior and improving animal welfare during slaughter. She has worked developing equipment for handling cattle. Other work in animal welfare was the development of an objective auditing system to access stunning and handling in slaughter plants.
