The Jules Tournut Probiotics Prize is organised every other year by EPA. It aims at rewarding young researchers for their innovative and significant contribution to probiotic research in animal nutrition. The award Ceremony will be the opportunity to meet with probiotics experts from academia and industry to share new insights of the potential roles of probiotics to answer today’s economic and regulatory issues for all animal productions.
The Jules Tournut Award was founded by EPA in 1999 to reward young researchers for their innovative works in the field of probiotic in Animal Nutrition. The prize worth 2000 € is awarded to young scientists with no geographical restriction. Fields of recognized expertise are nutrition, physiology, microbiology and immunity. The Prize judging panel is composed by the EPA Scientific Committee who examined all applications and ranked them according to three main sets of selection criteria: scientific excellence and quality, originality and potential for future developments, relevance and applicability for the industry.
We hope to see you in Hannover on November 12th!
