DDGS in-feed processing concerns resolved

Summary
Mexican feed miller had problems with durability of pellets when incorporating DDGS in the feed. Representatives of the US Grains Council could resolve the problem. CAMPI feed mill had reduced the use of DDGS in swine and beef cattle rations after finding the pellets lost shape and did not have a good pellet durability index rating, resulting in customers complaints. It is certainly a concern for the feed millers in PDI of the pelleting feed. It would be instesting if we know how high was the inclusion level of DDGS. As for starch inclusion sure will definitely improve PDI, what is the temperature during conditioning and time needed?
