The International Poultry & Pig Show ( IPPS ) Japan is an exhibition for the poultry and pig industries combined. IPPS is organized by Japan Livestock Industry Association ( JLIA ), Japan Poultry Association, Japan Pork Producers Association, and the members of JLIA equipment and machinery section. It is the only large scale show in Japan specializing in animal husbandry and management. Its 6th show took place in 2012, thanks to great supports from all the parties involved. In 2012, the show was very well attended by over 21, 000 visitors, including visitors from U.S.A., European and Asian countries. The organizer hereby expresses its gratitude to all the parties involved for their support for the successful show.
The recent poultry and pig industries are exposed to a severe production environment due to feed cost increases and the promotion of internationalization. In this situation, it will be necessary to proceed with production cost reduction thru further streamlining of production and distribution, the establishment of supply systems for consumer-demanded “safe and good quality ” food products, and to make efforts for higher value added product creation. In view of these, it has been decided that the IPPS 2015 is held in June, 2015. The show 2015 will depict new appearances of poultry and pig industries, with its theme “safe product quality”. In regard to this, additionally to the equipment/machinery/device exhibits, IPPS 2015 is to have expanded areas for the displaying and tasting of food products (poultry egg products, poultry meat and pork products, etc.) and for their display and sale.
Also, during the show period, poultry and pig seminars and presentations will be held in function rooms located within the show venue, in conjunction with the product exhibition. All visitors are welcome to these events.
The organizer hopes for an even more successful show than its 2012 precedent, with many parties’ exhibits from the whole poultry and pig industries.
