Nutrition and Climate, new developments
The “Poultry nutrition and climate, new developments” course will cover basic aspects of nutrition and acclimation physiology, and will focus on the interaction between the impact of climate conditions on nutrition and the nutritional requirements of poultry. The scientific basis of the interaction between climate and nutrition will be discussed, as well as the effects of individual feed ingredients. Part of the course will be devoted to a discussion of the influence of nutrition and climate on immunology, stress and the occur-rence of metabolic diseases, all important health parameters. In addition, the importance of nutrition and climate for a high-quality, safe end-product and the latest develop-ments in alternative production systems will be covered. http://www.wbs.wur.nl/UK/Postacademic+education/International+programmes/Nutrition+and+climate/Introductie/ del 18 al 20
