Utilizing Feed Additives to Maximize Broiler Gut Health
Gut health is important for maximizing the health, welfare, and performance of poultry. Therefore, a close definition of gut health would be the capability to execute normal physiological functions and to maintain homeostasis, being capable to respond infectious and non-infectious stressors. While many studies have already addressed the potential of certain types of feed additives, during his talk, Nutriad’s Daniel Ramirez will explore the improvements that can be made by optimizing single molecules and by investigating their optimal use in specific programs, focusing on the application of butyrate and phytogenic compounds.
FIAAP Animal Nutrition Conference 2018 will be on March 27, 2018 and will be one of six quality conferences being produced at VICTAM Asia 2018 by partners of Victam International. It will be the only event at VICTAM Asia that is a one-day conference for global feed professionals involved in various aspects of feed formulation.
