General Info
Why Moscow?
VIV is approaching the Moscow Edition in a different way to VIV Europe. In an entirely different way than with VIV Europe in Utrecht, VIV is launching this show to serve you better, right in the heart of the market. VIV Europe 2008 will be held at the Crocus Expo Exhibition Center (Moscow, Russia), on May 27 – 29.
A fresh approach to VIV Europe
The main exhibitor groups have requested a lower frequency of the traditional international shows for animal husbandry in the EU. Consequently, VIV re-scheduled VIV Europe in Utrecht from 2005 to spring 2006. VIV Europe will return in Utrecht in 2010, from April 20-23.
This lower frequency of the traditional European shows gives you the opportunity to increase your focus on participation in shows in the world´s new markets with a view to expanding your future business activities. In its analysis of developments in your market, VIV has identified Russia and Eastern Europe as being the new markets with the most trading potential for your company. Until today, there was no single trade fair that covered these markets. This calls for a trade event with an international reputation for these new markets: VIV Europe 2008 Moscow Edition.

Different to VIV Russia
May 2007 is the third edition of VIV Russia. Launched in 2004, this rapidly growing trade show focuses on the national Russian market. In March 2007, VIV Russia 2007 was fully booked. Exhibitors who missed this opportunity to enter the Russian markets will get a new chance in 2008. However, in 2008, VIV offers you much more than access to the booming Russian market only. VIV Europe 2008 Moscow Edition targets visitors from Russia, the CIS countries, Central & Eastern Europe, China, Brazil and the Middle East.
China, Brazil and the Middle East are not as distant from Moscow as they may seem. Driven by growing curiosity, the Chinese are heading into Russia to see what share of the pie they can get. Besides the close relationship as a trading partner, Brazil is increasingly investing in local production plants in Russia. Looking at the Middle East, countries like Iran have a special taste for doing business with Russia. Through its worldwide network of agents and VIV shows, VIV knows how to reach key buyers worldwide. VIV Asia and VIV Europe form the best examples of bringing them in contact with you.
As a result, you will have the unique opportunity to accelerate your business in Russia and its surrounding countries while getting face to face with key buyers and sellers from China, Brazil and the Middle East. All these aspects combine to make VIV Europe 2008 Moscow Edition entirely different to VIV Russia and the traditional European shows. This is precisely what VIV means by “reaching the world´s new markets from your key market Russia”!
