General Info

FIGAP 2014 welcomes important exhibitors such as manufacturers of machinery and equipment for the animal feed, agriculture and livestock industries, makers of livestock software and products related to animal health, nutrition and genetics, producers of metallic bins for the storage of grains and seeds, animal feed, pet food and forage, aquaculture companies and distributors of ingredients and additives as well as providers of services such as transport and others.

At FIGAP 2014, Mexico’s most important scientific and technological exposition for the livestock industry, our most important goal is for suppliers and their clients to meet in person, to have the experience of exchanging suggestions and recommendations that will help stimulate the development of the agriculture and livestock industries.

It is a unique opportunity to learn about the different solutions and tools available on the market that will help you meet the needs and/or requirements of growth and competitiveness.

As in past editions of the show, there will be a series of conferences and workshops aimed at strengthening participants’ knowledge. The workshops are designed to impart kowledge, skills or specific methodologies. These forums will present products, latest advances and new ideas related to the social and economic aspects of each topic covered.

Among the leading industry participants present at this important event is SIOUX STEEL COMPANY, a manufacturer of metal silos for grain storage. Based in the city of Sioux Falls in the state of South Dakota, Sioux Steel has over 100 years of experience developing solutions throughout the United States. Now, as part of its market expansion program, the company comes to Mexico through an alliance with local livestock industry leaders Molinos Azteca y Juper.

Both companies now offer the best options in machinery and equipment to meet your storage needs at low cost and with the highest technology

The pork industry has taken on a growing importance within Mexican agriculture. But even with these advances, the pork industry still has aspects that need to be addressed. Even if quality has improved across the majority of the domestic production available on the market, there is still further progress to be made.

The potential of Mexican pork exports has been limited by sanitary issues. The U.S. market, for example, is open only to Mexican exports originating in states certified to be free of Classical Swine Fever (CSF), which at this time is limited to eight states: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Chihuahua, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Sonora and Yucatan.

To address these problems, FIGAP gives significant attention to the topic of pork production. FIGAP is the place to find the latest scientific and technological innovations for the Mexican livestock industry.

FIGAP features over 200 exhibiting companies, including the industry’s leading manufacturers. Only at FIGAP will the pork industry find the world’s most important scientific and technological advances for pork production.

At FIGAP 2014, Mexico continues to consolidate its role as a pillar of feed production, meeting the needs of meat, dairy and egg producers.
